How Ferox Boutique Contributes to Women's Empowerment

Below are some of the ways we have contributed to supporting women and causes close to our hearts.

Partnering with KidsCan (2020-2022)

From 2020 to 2022, Ferox Boutique partnered with KidsCan, an organisation dedicated to helping disadvantaged children in New Zealand. During this time, we donated 10% of our sales, contributing directly to KidsCan's efforts to provide food, clothing, and essential products to children in need. Our partnership with them was driven by our belief that empowered women create stronger communities, and this starts with giving every child the opportunity to thrive.

U BY KOTEX “SheCanFund” Campaign

In September 2020, Ferox Boutique proudly contributed 10% of our monthly sales to U BY KOTEX's “SheCanFund” campaign. This initiative aimed to raise $50,000 for three organisations committed to empowering women. Our contribution was specifically directed towards the Foodbank Project to combat period poverty, ensuring that no girl or woman goes without access to essential period products. At Ferox, we believe that every girl should feel confident and capable, regardless of financial circumstances.

“Nominate an Essential Worker” Campaign

During the challenging times of the COVID-19 lockdown, we launched the Nominate an Essential Worker Campaign to honour and appreciate the brave women who sacrificed their health and time to keep New Zealand safe. Through this initiative, we gifted two timeless outfits and best-selling bar soaps from The Raw by Jess NZ to nominated essential workers, offering them a token of appreciation for their unwavering dedication and strength.

Empower Her Bag Project

One of our most heartfelt initiatives, the Empower Her Bag Project, was created to give back to women in women's refuges. This special project was designed to be more than just a gesture—it was a message to women in crisis that they are seen, valued, and supported. Each bag was filled with essentials and thoughtfully chosen items, serving as a reminder that there are people who care about their journey and are standing with them as they rebuild their lives.
