I once found myself hiding behind the corridors of my mistakes, weighed down by the flaws I thought defined me. But then, I encountered a loving God—one who saw me, truly saw me, even in the deepest parts of my story. He knew my imperfections, yet extended His boundless grace, ready to transform the broken pieces of my life and offer me a fresh start.
Sister, that same loving God sees you. He doesn’t just see the flawed parts of you—He sees the empowered woman He envisioned from the beginning of time, the one He intricately designed before the world was formed. He sees your beauty, your worth, your strength. Pause for a moment. Take a breath, and let that truth sink in. How does it feel to know that you are fully seen, fully known, and still fully loved?
So, stop hiding. Stop hiding behind the mistakes of your past, the pain of yesterday, the weight of regret. You have a God who deeply cares for you. One of my favorite verses, Isaiah 61:3, declares, "He gives them a crown of beauty for ashes." This promise is a reflection of His heart for you—He turns what is broken into something beautiful.
Today, I invite you to let Him crown you with beauty. Allow Him to restore and adorn you with the grace and splendor that have always been yours.
Before you go, grab a pen and paper. Write down every beautiful thing you discover about yourself, every quality that reflects your unique brilliance. And when you’re done, celebrate. Celebrate who you are, and know that you are worthy of beauty, love, and joy.
